Snow Day
We had a snow storm!
We heard on the morning news that schools in Drummondville were closed...but it was a little confusing because it wasnt snowing much. There had been a snow storm in Ontario, New York and Vermont, leaving cars covered in snow barely visible and schools closed for a week. So it was our turn and as a precaution schools pretty much all aroung our region were closed.
By the end of the day, in my town, the streets were snow white and all sparkly (my favourite thing about snow it the way it looks with a little light). Taking the little dog for a walk was a little harsh, the snow was up to his nose (if he was holding it up high). In the region about 45 km from ours, cars were hidden by snow! Schools and universities in that region are closed for a while, while I'm back at school today. There was a lot of snow during the night but there was no wind this morning so school buses could pass through. But at about lunch time it picked up again and were all hoping buses can make it to school to get us. Well atleast the buses nearby will, its the farm kids that are a little worried becasue the roads to the farms are always closed in a snow storm. Another reason im grateful I live close to town.
Apart from our snow storm, Valentines Day was good. I got lots of cards from all my friends. Didnt get a special card from a special someone, so I'll hope for better next year.
Happy Valentines to everyone in nz. Lots of love. missing you guys heaps :)
